Hillary Clearly Understimated The ‘Pussygrabber’ Vote
The Hillary Clinton campaign will long investigate how this election got away from them. After conceding to President-Elect Donald Trump, strategists and media began speculating how everyone seemed to have gotten it wrong. Did she fail to drive women and minority voters to the polls? Had she poorly appealed to former Bernie supporters? Another theory has emerged: she completely ignored the Pussygrabber vote.
On the contrary, Donald Trump helped give this overlooked community a voice. Comments overheard at a recent town hall in support of Trump ranged from ‘Hey, I constantly grab women by their pussies – yet I’m met with things like restraining orders, slaps and divorce’ to ‘When was the last time the Obama administration grabbed someone by their pussy? It’s not there weren’t opportunities! What did our President do with Angela Merkel? Take a selfie. And, of course, more recently with British PM Theresa May? It shows weakness – an unwillingness of America as a world leader to grab anyone by their pussy?’
Not any more. This small but pivotal segment is encouraged about the future. When asked about the economy or giving nuclear codes to a volatile man, reactions were optimistic. ‘Sure, I hope there are good jobs, but I’m most excited to begin walking up to married women and kissing them.’ Also heard: ‘Sure the thought of nuclear war or increased violence from ISIS sounds bad – but it doesn’t sound so bad if you’re barging into a women’s locker room full of pageant models? That’s what I’m focused on – and most excited for.’
When further pressed, one interviewee awkwardly lowered his glance to my crotch; and as he slowly drew his hand from his pocket, I concluded the interview.
